PUBLIC EXHIBITION


THE PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF THE PLANNING PROPOSAL

The public exhibition of the Planning Proposal will comprise the following documents:

 

  1. THE GATEWAY DETERMINATION that has been issued by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment which approves the Planning Proposal to proceed to public exhibition.

     

  2. THE PLANNING PROPOSAL REPORT that explains the intended effect of the amendments being proposed to the Lane Cove LEP 2009. The report addresses all relevant matters in accordance with Section 55 of the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

     

  3. THE DRAFT DEVELOPMENT CONTROL PLAN that provides greater detail on the building form, streetscape and landscape controls that have been developed for the site.

     

  4. THE UPDATED TRAFFIC IMPACT ASSESSMENT prepared by Traffix Transport and Traffic Consultants that demonstrate the minimal impact on the existing intersection and network layout that is likely to occur as a result of the proposed land use. It also incudes and a road and pedestrian safety audit.

     

  5. THE NSW DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT PUBLICATION – Local Environmental Plans | A Guide to Preparing Local Environmental Plans.

 

WHERE CAN I VIEW THE EXHIBITION?

Lane Cove Council will place the Planning Proposal on public exhibition for a period of six weeks from the 8th March to the 19th April 2018.

 

A copy of the Planning Proposal and all the relevant documents, can be viewed on the Lane Cove Council website www.lanecove.nsw.gov.au It is also available to view on the downloads page of this website.

HOW DO I MAKE A PUBLIC SUBMISSION?

During the public exhibition period, any member of the public can make a written submission on the Planning Proposal to Lane Cove Council. Please contact Lane Cove Council to find out how to make a public submission.

Public Submissions cannot be made to Urban Concepts or Pathways Residences.

 

 

COMMUNITY INFORMATION SESSION

To facilitate Community understanding about the Planning Proposal Lane Cove Council will hold an Information Session from 6-8pm on Wednesday 14th March 2018. The session will be held at:


Terrace Function Room
Lower Ground Floor,
Lane Cove Community Hub,
1 Pottery Lane,
Lane Cove.


At the session members of Pathways Residences multi-disciplinary team will explain the Planning Proposal documentation on public exhibition:

 

  • CITY PLAN STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT will walk you through the Planning Proposal Report, the proposed LEP amendments and the Draft DCP.
  • GMU URBAN DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE will explain the site context and the building form that the proposed controls would give rise to on the site.
  • TRAFFIX TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT CONSULTANTS will present the findings of their traffic investigations.
